Top Commentators:
This plugin will display on our side bar, the names and number of posts of the most frequent commentators on our blog, with the highest comments at the top. These are then linked back to the commentators website if desired.
Suffice to say that the building of back links are a very important part of your quest to earn money online. Posting on this blog will overtime help you build dozens of solid links back to your website.

All my blogs use CommentLuv or KeyWordluv….I dont understand why you would use anything else. Such an easy way to generate backlinks!

I’ve noticed that comment-luv is enabled on this blog post.. can anyone explain the differences, if any, between comment-luv, keyword-luv, and do-follow attributes?
I really like this plugin. It gives me the chance to say who I am and why I am on the Internet.

I love Keyword Luv. It helps with site promotion
Keyword Luv is one of the best things to come out for the blogging world.
There is no doubt in the fact that Keyword luv is a great plugin. It makes sense because people come to your site in a link building campaign.
Visitors turn into clicks. I never click links just to click them because it’s not fair to advertisers.

Thanks for the information on the plugins. I have never heard of them before I came here. I also just learned of a pluging called Chennai Central. It is supposed to save your bandwith. Also WP Super Chache is supposed to be good as it helps your pages load faster, and I guess Google likes that so it helps to get your PR up.
I am new to wordpress blogging so I am very interested in seeing how this tool works and if it helps in my site ranking. I think I will have do a bit more reading about the tool to get my head round how it works exactly.

I post to “no-follow” pages all the time, and when I look at my link and traffic logs, what do you know…there’s the (supposedly) “no-follow” link!
You can decide for yourself exactly what that means, but from where I’m sitting a “no-follow” link is just as good as a “do-follow” link.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again…A LINK IS A LINK!
So don’t fret over whether the link may or may not be passing “link juice” to you. Just act like a human being, be a part of the conversation and in the end your site will move up in the engines.

I do love CommentLuv. Anything that helps promote valuable discussion and keep out the spammers is welcome. Does anyone know if CommentLuv is compatible with Disqus? What I like about Disqus is it allows me to keep track of all my comments I leave on other blogs as well as “edit” them if I find an error.

Keywordluv is very good plugin for SEO and keyword research.
Yes I am also aware of these plug-ins until recently but they seem very powerful.

Keywordluv is another great SEO plug-in of WordPress that helps both the blog owner and the blog commenter. Through using this plug-in from some of my blogs, I saw a huge amount of traffic that comes from blog commenter’s like myself, searching for related, credible and good neighbor websites that I can build links with.

Allowing keyword anchored links is a great way to get original content to your site which is important for ranking in Google.
Encouraging the comment poster to post good content to receive a link back to their site in exchange for their contribution is mutually beneficial.

I do like this plugin, but you get a lot of junk. I did also discover that about 80% of the spam will come to your site even if you don’t have the plugin, so the spam burden is not that bad at all.

If you want to drive more traffic to your site then the Luv plugins are the perfect tools. Getting quality comments is easier when you have these plugins on your site. Quality comments will add fresh content for your site too and it will help in improving the rank of your site.
There are some very handy tips on this site, I do like KWL and CL but I tend to get a lot of spam comments can any one recommend a good spam filter.
My website is do follow. I think it is a good way to make connections across the Internet. Leave a quality, on topic comment, and you get a backlink. I get very little spam and it deletes really easy.

As some have pointed out, the problem with the plug-ins is that you can run into a lot of spam, but if you’re willing to take the time to go through it all, it can be awesome because you basically get people to create the content for your site (which we all know Google loves)!

As a few others have said, the problem with using those plug-ins is that you risk receiving a bunch of spam. But, if you’re willing to actually sort through it, it can be great because people basically give you free content for your site (which we all know Google loves)!

Those are my two favorite plugins for backlinking. But you have to keep in mind that you also have to build other kind of links.
