Are Online Money Making Scams Real?
Money making scams promoted by faceless companies have starred me in the face several times in my almost 2 years of sojourning online. In my quest to make a living online, I fell into the hands of scammers who appeared as “angels of light” some with beautifully crafted website, even responsive customer service and oft times they have been around for some years yet they were still a fraud.
Online money making scams is real, and they really do exist.
Here are top seven ways to avoid being a victim of make money scams.
- Check to see if the company is affiliated to one of several related professional bodies example, Better Business Bureau(BBB), icop, Honest eOnline.
- Are there real addresses, telephones and fax numbers on the website? A genuine business should definitely have these. Do not stop there though, use the numbers on their website, see if they work and whether there is a real person or a recorded voice behind those numbers. Speaking with a real person will add credibility to the company.
- Go to forums that are related to the product or service the company is offering and get the comments of other people. Who knows you may find someone who has had dealings with either the product or the company. But care should to taken here as a representative of that company may go to such forums to post glowing remarks about themselves. On another hand , you may find some disgruntled difficult-to-please people who would see scam in everything. Use your discretion here to sift helpful comments from damaging ones.
- Read terms of service or agreement closely before giving out details of your credit or debit card.
- If you have a mentor, find out his or her opinion about the offer and the company. You may likely receive tremendous help here.
- Find answers to the following questions: How long has the company’s website been on the internet? How long have they paid for hosting? the longer the period the better.
- Watch out for the kind of words used. Do they sound like a get rich quick program? If they sound too good to be true then it probably is.

Yes, unfortunately there are a lot of scammers out there. There are also a lot of programs that are borderline scams. That is, they are legit in that you will be paid when you make a sale. But they grossly inflate your potential earnings in their sales pitches. So they get lots of people paying to sign up thinking they will be millionaires overnight. Of course those people give up after a while, but the company still keeps their registration fees! And it continues to operate freely because it’s not technically a scam.

I have been at this internet marketng since January this year. I have gone thru a couple scams too. One being the Lifepath and the other being the Regenesis2x2. The latter one has gone under. Luckily I lost ony $325. But the LP is bull. High priced products that I found no one wants to buy in this market. The guru that signed me up was making good money at the time and he doesn’t even do it anymore I found out recently. Be careful.
